If your download does not start, click here, or get the full version Descriptions VSnap Pro Edition: VSnap Pro Edition is an enterprise-level open file management and disk volume snapshot solution. The software allows you to take an instant snapshot of your active disk volumes. The snapshots can be used by backup applications to provide backups that do not suffer from the "skipped file" syndrome normally due to open files. A snapshot can also be mounted as a logical disk drive allowing the user to view files/directories in the state in which they existed at the point-in-time of the snapshot. An active snapshot requires very little disk space owing to StorageCraft's "Smart Snap" technology. Volume Snapshot is exposed to the user as a shell extension to Microsoft Explorer. If your backup vendor supports StorageCraft's VSnap API, your backup application can control snapshots to provide open file backup. VSnap Pro also snaps multiple volumes simultaneously as directed by your backup application. VSnap Pro Edition with Microsoft Volume Shadow Copy Services (VSS) support is also available.
