Modelart F15 E Strike Eagle:
F-15 Eagle was designed in the late 1960s as a FAST maneuverable air superiority fighter to replace the older F-4 Phantom. The first flight of the new fighter was performed on 27/06/1972. During its service the type showed remarkable capabilities. In 1984 F-15 won the Air Force competition for Dual Role Fighter and in 1986 the first F-15 E Strike Eagle made its initial flight. The combination of air-to-air and air-to surface capabilities allows F-15 E to fly its way into a target area, put bombs on a target, and fly its way to friendly territory without air escort protection.
