The Lavochkin La 11 Fang was a direct development of the earlier La5 and La7 Fin fighters that had done so much to seize air superiority in the skies over Russia from the Nazis in the final days of World War two. Whereas its earlier stable mates contained many structural components made of wood, the La11 Fang was all metal and was heavily armed with four NS 23 cannon. It was the match of any piston engined fighter the West could muster. This ModelArt kit contains parts for two versions, one of the VVS Russian air defence, and another of the Korean Night fighter Defence Regiment.
