Installation Instructions | Technical Support | Download Eval Royal Mail 4 State Customer Code Barcode Font Info: The Royal Mail 4-State Customer Code (RM4SCC) was created for automated mail sortation processes and is normally used to print the postcode and Delivery Point Suffix (DPS) on letters in machine readable format. The RM4SCC fonts are used to print the 4-State Customer Code barcodes for automated mail sortation and addressing in the UK. The RM4SCC 4 State barcode fonts also implement KIX codes as used by the Dutch PTT for bulk mail addressing. 4-State barcode fonts are also used in several other places including Singapore, Australia and the Netherlands. The Royal Mail 4-State Customer Code (RM4SCC) is based on 36 barcodes representing alphanumeric characters (0-9, A-Z), as well as start and stop bar characters which are represented by ( and ). The TrueType version of the Royal Mail 4 State Customer Code bar code font is compatible with all versions of Windows® including Windows® 3.1, Windows® 95, Windows® 98, Windows® NT, Windows® 2000 and Windows® XP. Although Royal Mail 4 State Customer Code fonts are scaleable, they were designed to be printed at 12 points. The Royal Mail 4 State Customer Code barcode symbols also meet Royal Mail specification tolerances when printed at 11 or 13 points. Australian Post Address Barcode Font Info: The Australian Post Address barcode is another implementation of the 4-State barcode. However, their implementation uses different encoding tables than the RM4SCC barcode to encode 64 different barcodes in the "C Encoding Table" and 10 in the "N Encoding Table". They also use Reed Solomon error checking instead of a single check character. The Australia Post Address barcode can be printed from our fonts by sending the appropriate bar state value for each bar of the character to the printer with the "IDAutomation4State" font selected. For example, to produce the character "H" under the "C Encoding Table", you would send the numbers "012" to the printer. to produce the number "7" under the "N Encoding Table", you would send the numbers "21" to the printer. Printing Other Implementations of the 4-State Barcode: There may be other implementations of the 4-State barcode. The number of effective users for software licensing is determined by the method defined below that returns the greatest number. The number of users contributing to the data that is printed with the Software. For example, 100 users entering or editing data on a host where only 1 program prints barcodes to 1 printer, would require 100 user licenses. According to the multi-user licensing below, this would require 4 Single User Licenses to be purchased. The number of users that have the Software installed on their CPU.
