The ability to merge GIFs is especially useful to let you build an icon bar dynamically. Each icon exists in a separate GIF. The user can then select which icons to include in a "template" GIF that will hold the icons. This generates one GIF, which is a much faster download than multiple icon GIFs. The sources include the Visual Basic project and class files. VB 6.0 is required to compile the sources.
