Terratial's BBImageViewer finally enables color Blackberry users to be able to receive e-mail image attachments up to the size of the phone's display. This particular product offering is intended for Blackberries which have a 240-pixel wide by 260-pixel wide color display.
This application embeds itself into the Blackberry's e-mail application. When an e-mail message is opened and the graphical image attachment is highlighted, the standard menu becomes not-so-standard by presenting a new menu item: "View with BBImageViewer." Selecting this menu item results in the image being presented in an easy-to-use interface. Most people are unaware of the Blackberry's standard inability to present graphical e-mail attachments, at least until they try to do this themselves. With BBImageViewer, the benefits of Blackberry's strong e-mail capabilities grow significantly.
