An easily mastered tool maintains backups of important system and data files in the ever-popular .zip compression format. A Wizard guides you through the steps of backup set creation: supplying paths and filters for included and excluded files, specifying the storage folder, the compression ratio, file locking strategy, selecting the incremental or differential backup method and much more. Enabling file inclusion on the date-time basis you will have backed up the new and changed files only. All you have to do after that is to press Backup button or to order your favorite Automation utility to start ABE backup automatically using the Command-line support. Once the backup is created you can easily restore files stored within it, view or edit their content. The import and export features are useful to synchronize folders on different PCs, and span large backups across multiple disks. Other features include maintaining multiple backup copies, creating self-extracting .zip files, support for the the ActiveX automation. Ample documentation is also available.
